Forever Frugal Friday - Cozy Time!!
Coziness to me this weekend equals this Bubble Hem Slub Knit Tunic, Fab Stirrup Leggings (they stay better tucked within my boots), an Organic Cotton Racerback Tank and last but not least this Heart & Coin Necklace.
Perfection for a fall back weekend :)

Mid Week Thinking....
While cruising some blogs this AM Glassford Hill Girl had some great "Resolutions" posted that she found via News Resolution. All of the resolutions had me thinking, smiling or laughing. Worth checking out for sure. This one above spoke to me the most :)
Happy Hump Day!

Karma, Karma, Karma Dogeared Necklace
Currently on loan from one of my best friends Jaime, is this adorable Karma Gold Dipped Necklace from Dogeared. I wear it everyday and love the saying the accompanies the card...
Thanks Jaime!
"what goes around, comes around...wear your necklace as a reminder to keep the circle positive, peaceful and loving"Quite a good philosophy to keep in mind on those days that being positive is just not in the cards.
Thanks Jaime!

Song Of The Week: With A Little Help From My Friends
This song couldn't be more true regarding life in general. I know that I am the luckiest gal alive and have the most incredible group of friends you have ever met. I love you all :)
Sorry for the lack of postings...it has been a crazy few weeks to say the least...but I am getting by with a little help from my friends....

Forever Frugal Friday
As fall begins to set in for everyone (including us LA peeps) it is time to start covering that skin you've been showing off all summer long this Pattern Weave Scarf is a good way to start. Light enough that you won't feel as though it is winter yet, but enough of coverage to make you feel toasty and cozy. Stylish and functional...totally marvelous!
Have a brisky (maybe even frisky?) weekend!!

The Wedding by Danielle Steel Review
I just FINALLY finished The Wedding by Danielle Steel. All I can say is that apparently she does it for everyone else (proven by her numerous books that are ranked #1 book after book and the photo above), but me. I have never had to motivate myself to read or finish a book more, than I did with The Wedding.
Unfortunately the book was just dull, dull, and dull. The main character was Allegra was fine and dandy but 517 pages of the same thing over and over was just too much for me to handle. It wasn’t trashy at all (barely any “romance” scenes), and I felt like I was reading the same adjectives paragraph after paragraph. The book read like an after school special, problem arrives, problem solved, everyone happy…minus this reader who was bored out of her mind.
The only part of the book that made me laugh (seeing as the book was written in 2001) was the description of the wedding dress...
Quite a vision of a dress if you ask me. I have always hoped my wedding dress would have the same description as a mullet.
Now that summer is over, I can get back to reading books that are far more interesting. My summer experiment with trashy novels was a failure and I can officially say that romance novels are not for me. While I would consider reading another Jackie Collins novel, Danielle and I are sooo DONEZO.
Next book on the list…Stori Telling by Tori Spelling. CAN’T WAIT!!

"Allegra and her mother went shopping at Dior, and they ordered a dress that Mr.Ferre was apparently willing to have slightly readjusted to suit Allegra. It was white pique, with a white lace overlay. It was short in the front, long in the back. And he was going to add a short, high-necked, long-sleeved white lace jacket. It came with a huge white lace picture hat, and it was exactly what Allegra had in mind for her wedding. It was elegant, young and exciting!"
