yay for the weekend!  this week went by super fast with b's b*day on tuesday, dinner at animal wednesday (where i had the MOST incredible salad ever, along with the pork belly sliders - yum), and a dodger game last night (win)!

 

tomorrow i'm brunching with some gals i always have a fun time with (the other b in my life, this is not your life and sweet nothings), catching up with my fave gal pals and hopefully finding more throw pillows and a coffee table for the new place! 

 

i can't believe this sunday marks the end of june, but i am ready to welcome in july with big open arms!

tonight i celebrate my girlfriend karah being cancer free for 3 months, tomorrow more celebrations are to be had and sunday...who knows!

 

i also am excited that i am finally cleared to work out since spraining my ankle memorial day!  wish me luck and let's hope my swimsuit still fits!

happy weekend indeed!  still big limping here, but my sprain is definitely doing better. 

 

a weekend of birthday celebrations is in store, along with some home organizing as i promised b we would get to the last few boxes and officially have everything unpacked.

 

heading to home goods tomorrow and perhaps tj maxx, any other good home stores we should check out that are affordable?

seriously. 

 

i stepped wrong in step class on monday and am now sporting a lovely cankle and limping around town.  not my favorite week ever. 

 

excited for the weekend as the last three weeks have been super stressful at work and i am feeling a little down in the dumps. 

 

here's to the frickin' weekend with friends, an elevated ankle and fresh start to the month of june!

it's finally here!  my first 5k ever and while i am totally nervous, i am also totally excited!

 

after running the revlon run/walk for women tomorrow morning, it's back home for a quick shower and change and then off to main street santa monica for some birthday pub crawl action!

 

a sunday night dinner at gjelina will be exactly what the doctor ordered!

we celebrated tres de mayo at work today and i am suffering a bit from too much horchata (it's so good)! 

 

tomorrow it's a shockwave workout with the girls at equinox, then a fabulous charity silent auction and dinner at the skirball center (dress from rent the runway - fingers crossed it works) and a little farmers market and coffee with the boy on sunday.  and duh a margarita - who's kidding who?

yahoo for friday!  this week has been a busy one at work and i am looking forward to the weekend more than usual. 

 

tonight i'm heading out to celebrate sweet kimi's b*day, tomorrow morning i've got circuit works brentwood with my fresh from paris gal pal christy, a much overdue haircut (still no idea what i am doing to it) and a night out to fully maximize the great blowout i receive. 

 

sunday, i will begin to attack my closet.  organize, organize, organize.

wowza!  it's already april?  how in the world did that happen?

 

i am officially all moved into the new abode and couldn't be more excited.  the only issue is our new couch and love seat will not be ready for another 6-8 weeks so the place is looking a little empty (sans the boxes we still have to unpack) but i have to admit it is feeling a little more like home every day. 

 

this weekend i need to find homes for all the shits and giggles, get some shelves up, find some artwork for the walls and enjoy my gf iona who is visiting from amsterdam.

i started the day off with two glasses of champagne, a mini quiche and delicious cheeses - all before 11 am. 

 

found some good possibly new homes to tour this weekend and am heading out of the office early to get my weekend of celebrating started. 

 

i have a 21st b*day tonight and absolutely have to represent and not be that old broad at the party!  tomorrow some house tours followed by a 50th b*day party. 

 

all while soaking up some rays, reading my new book and trying to find my new home!

how it is the last weekend of january 2013 is beyond me. but the last weekend of january means the first weekend of february, which means it's almost my b*day!

 

this weekend i will be taking it easy, watching some flicks, studying, exercising, more studying and then fitting in some friends and fun wherever i can find time.

first long weekend of twenty thirteen and i find myself recouping from a damn sinus infection.  yuck.

 

while i would love to get all wild and crazy and live it up this weekend, i fear that may not be the best idea for my already compromised immune system. 

 

instead i plan to get my sweat on, read a little, de-clutter and sneak in some fun with a brunch tomorrow with some gals you should definitely be following.

big game on sunday.  i'm nervous.  i'll be at a bar at 8 am on sunday.  i'm nervous.  i'm watching zero dark thirty tonight.  i'm nervous.  i'm taking a new workout class tonight and tomorrow morning.  i'm nervous.

i just love short work weeks!

 

tonight i will be unpacking and re-hanging (exciting stuff) all my clothes and getting my room somewhat organized (best to start the year off clean and with everything in place). 

 

saturday will include my first workout of the year, perhaps a night out with the girls and who knows really! 

 

on sunday i will be on the edge of my seat or holding my breath as the seahawks take on the redskins - GO HAWKS!  plus i plan to fit in a little time with this fancy lady!
