wow. i have some choice words for them as well. but i too have been trying to just stop and realize that karma is a total bitch, so debit card stealers beware!
is it any consolation they had good taste? Kidding..how ridiculous!! Did the bank work with you? I had that happen right at the time I sent my friend a big ol check for our stagecoach tickets, and had to tell her to wait to cash it. I felt so lame.
