Upon entering the store my eyes were immediately drawn to the Melissa Sweet Mari dress below:
If money wasn't an object, I would have bought this dress to change into after dinner. Luckily for me, a future bride tried the dress on and I got to enjoy the fabulousness of it.
The White Dress had some other spectacular shorties, which had me recalculating my budget...at least in my head :)

Although it is not a possibility for my wedding, I absolutely love the idea of a short wedding dress. It adds a little fun, flirti-ness and dare I say innocence? What do you think? Short wedding dresses, thumbs up or thumbs down?

I'm torn. Agreed if it was in the budget to change into a short dress I would so be all over that. But if it's not in the budget my motto is "Go big or go home" it's your wedding day! Get the big fancy dress and go all out. Wear the shorty for your rehearsal, honeymoon or someone else's wedding. :)
I really like your idea of changing after dinner but I have to say once you are in your dress and the day starts happening you dont want to take your dress off. Shelby's got a good point get it for your rehearsal or honeymoon.

I love short wedding dresses on other people but I wouldn't do it. I would totally wear a short wedding dress for rehearsal dinner or day after pics though!
