i love this breezy southwestern dream shift dress w/ sash from forever.  i love the way it is styled here and i love the option of cinching in the waist and throwing on some heels to dress it up a bit.  perfect little dress for hot summer days.

i have a love hate relationship with maxi dresses.  i love the look of them, but with my short frame tend to feel overwhelmed in one.  and this past weekend on montana avenue all i could see where cute women everywhere sporting maxi dresses. 

 

and so even though b is not a fan of maxi dresses, i am on the hunt for the perfect maxi dress (that will of course require hemming) for summer 2013.  while i would prefer a bright colored maxi to sport around town, this tribal print maxi dress could be a good start at an incredible price of under$25!

with the sun shining and spring officially here it's all about the sundresses for me!  i love this blue tribal inspired dress.  perfectly priced at under $15 bucks it would be perfect for an upcoming music festival (that i am sadly once again not attending) or brunching with the ladies.

oh how i love when summer arrives.  even though the weather in la is almost always sunny.  summer time brings bright colors, bold prints and the ability to wear just about anything because it's summer!

i am loving this essential blushing shift dress in blue (also available in coral and yellow) as it is casual enough to wear to brunch and running around town but you could spice it up with some bold accessories and heels and wear it out and about as well. 

gotta love a dress you can get multiple purpose wears out of. 

i also love the casual-ness summer brings.  all you really need any saturday is a pair of jean shorts (my goal is to fit into a pair that i love this summer) and a cute ass tank top.  well i found this cute metallic heart racerback tank that would look darling with just about anything, but still need to find those jean shorts...

to continue on with my print obsession, how cute is this wavering stripes dress?  i love the color, the style, the print and that patent pink clutch (searched the site...couldn't find it). 

perhaps i will be also be venturing into forever this weekend to find this little number...

v*day is here and while i love all the hearts, pink and cinnamon treats, i am not really one to celebrate this holiday. 

but if i were to receive a gift from cupid, any of the items above would surely make me quite twitterpated!

B*Day Wishlist Part II

oh me oh my!  32 is just a few days away.  eek! 

i bring you more goodies i am lusting over from the birthday gods above...

one day, it will happen.  this alexander mcqueen skull scarf will be mine.  if i have to buy it as a present to myself, i will own it. 

i need more artwork desperately, and all we need is love, so...pretty sure all i need is this love candy metallic gold print for one of my bare walls at home.

i have a odd obsession with coffee mugs, and simply adore these heart mugs by graziela.

the eddera arrow cuff would be a perfect piece to wear every day, and since i don't currently have an everyday bracelet, this one is currently in first place to fix the void.

i am crossing my fingers that any of the items above somehow find their way into my possession...

Valentine's Day arrives this coming Monday, and although I have never been one to celebrate the holiday I do really enjoy all things heart shaped and any excuse to wear hearts is alright with me. 

Even if you don't have a valentine, why not treat the most important person (you) to something cute and festive?  Like the Heart Print Bag, Cozy Heart Socks, or the darling Heart Print Cardigan. 

To me Valentine's Day is about showing affection and appreciation for anyone in your life.  Plus who doesn't love the overload of pink and red hearts everywhere?

I was the lucky recipient of a gift card to Forever 21 from my sister Kelsey for my birthday (Thanks Sis!) and have been browsing and trying on trying to spend it. Well guess what my friends...today was the jackpot! I found this adorable T-Back Zipper Sun Dress along with three other items all for $52.00! I think this dress is just perfect for the summer days ahead. I am thinking day drinking at The Whaler, a picnic at The Getty Villa, or just shopping around with the girls. I should receive the goods next week, and will be sure to report back with my findings!
